Bijar Bay was the harbor and anchorage point of the ancient city of Apsorus. At some places, on large rocks on the shore traces are visible from long-term bonding of ropes for boats. Below the city ramparts, at a depth of 3 to 5 meters, lies a concentration of ancient pottery and tegulae.
